Day 7 - Dublin

Sunday in Dublin.  A day to reflect on the week gone by and prepare for the tour around the rest of Ireland.
Started the day with an exhibition of animals called "Animal Inside Out", was fascinating.  Elephants, Bears, horses, goats fish etc, all shown with their bone structure and internal organs in tact.  May sound gruesome but was very informative.  We then went to a typical Irish pub to watch a game of Hurling.  This game is fast and exciting as the ball can go from one end of the field to the other in seconds. It is extremely popular in Ireland and there are hundreds of clubs and many games each week.
We then had to say good bye to Karen and Stephen as they drove back to Cork. We will catch up with them in 12 days as we pass close to Cork on our tour of Ireland.

The exhibition we visited today, no photos again allowed inside.

The street performers were out on the streets to the delight of the crowds.

Prominent flags out on many Irish buildings.

Goôd bye to Karen and Stephen, two special people who shared their country with us over the past week.  We were spoilt by them in their amazing country, we will now try to get them to Aus to return their kindness.
